(OCT 21) Again,
“Hall of Shamer” boxer Willicia Moorehead, 2-17-0, will be
fighting again, on October 27, 2005, at the Civic Center, in Hammond,
Indiana, when she takes on Amy Yoratovac. This tidbit of
information is reported on boxrec.com. Moorehead has been stopped 11
times in her last 12 bouts, and losing her last 13 fights. It does not
take much to figure out "why" when you catch a glimpse of her
boxing abilities.
Moorehead has a long history dated back to 1999, in the sport of
providing ample KO’s for her opponent’s record. Here is a summary of her
stoppages in the sport thus far….Mary McGee, stopped Moorehead 1:37
seconds of the third round; Lois Theobold, TKO’d Moorehead in the second
round; Kristy Follmar KO’d Moorehead in the second round; Kelli Cofer
TKO’d her twice in two matches; Mary Jo Sanders, KO’d her in the
first round; Chevelle Hallback KO’d her in first round; Renee Richardt
Douglas KO’d her in the second round: Mary Elizabeth Ortega, TKO her in
second round; Andrea Nelson TKO’d her in the first round in one
fight, and stopped her with TKO in the second round when she first
fought her; Jennifer Alcorn Stopped her in the first round; and Bridget
Benjamin TKO’d Moorehead in the second round.

When all else fails - Turn back
on opponent - flail your hands in wide angles, and pray that the
ref makes it a short night-collect check--go home.

When fighting in close, close
eyes, take a nap, and hope the ref stops the fight soon... |

Try the "rope-a-egg beater"
move, claw at your opponent to keep the opponent within arms
length. Drop your hands to throw your opponent off, since boxers
don't generally drop the hands to defend oneself, and throw wide
and out of range combinations that look more like a human
"blender" in action than a boxer. |
