Poplar Bluff, Native, Jeri “Fists of Fury” Sitzes facing Ada “The Ace” Velez in a  6 round Special Attraction for the CALLOWAY - SMITH Match Headliner on ESPN2 “FRIDAY NIGHT FIGHTS” AUGUST 1OTH!

Holden Productions brings nationally televised world class professional boxing back to Springfield on Friday, August 10th when heavyweight contenders Rob Calloway and Terry Smith collide in a 10 round match-up at the Springfield Expo Center.

The event marks the first televised show in Springfield since the April 7th Showtime event headlined by the late former world champion Diego Corrales, who lost a decision to Joshua Clottey. Corrales passed away one month later in a motorcycle accident.

For both Calloway & Smith, the August 10th event will seemingly serve as a hometown fight, as Springfield is half way between Calloway’s hometown of St. Joseph, MO and Smiths’s hometown of Little Rock, AR.

Team Sitzes is excited to announce that the August 10th event with feature seven bouts, including Poplar Bluff Native, now making Springfield MO her home, Jerri “Fists of Fury” Sitzes, 13-6-1 (5 KOs). Jeri “Fists of Fury” Sitzes will face former world IBA world champion Ada "The Ace" Velez, 14-2-2 (6 KOs), of Hollywood, Florida. The match will be a six round special attraction on ESPN2 on August 10th, at the Springfield Expo Center, Springfield, Missouri. It is unknown at this time if the fight will be televised. Jeri “Fists of Fury” Sitzes is currently ranked 4th in the World Professional Female Boxing Ranking as a Featherweight on WBAN, and is ranked 5th as a Featherweight in World Active Featherweight Rankings on Box Rec. This will be an exciting and competitive match!
