(OCT 19) WBAN received some cool coverage from Multi-world champion Layla McCarter who caught up with Edelma Jeffrey who is making her pro debut tonight on a Gary Shaw Card.

Layla McCarter said, "I had the pleasure of meeting Edelma Jeffrey who is making a pro debut (tonight)-Saturday) at the Pico Rivera Sports Center on a Gary Shaw promotion featuring: Alejandro Luna 135 vs. Daniel Attah 134.5.  The weigh-in had Edelma Jeffrey, 130 vs. Myra Manzo, 135."

"Both girls are making a pro debut. Jeffrey is originally from St.Lucia, started boxing on the east coast out of Rhode Island, and currently resides in California. Her twin sister has been the greatest support and sparring partner."

"Jeffrey's has had 15 amateur fights and has been involved in boxing for about 10 years. She is ready for her long-awaited debut. I'm looking forward to witnessing the first fight in two careers and following future progress.
