(JULY 2) Last night S.A.L.T promoted a great event involving both kickboxing and boxing in Manurewa, Auckland, New Zealand. One of the big highlights of the night was the impressive performance from Geovana Peres.

Brazilian born, New Zealand resident Geovana Peres (1 - 1 - 0), took on New Zealand kickboxer Tessa Tualevao. The New Zealand National Champion Peres showed impressive skills, winning almost every round of the fight and knocking down Tualevao in the second round. “Let's see what the future brings. I love boxing I will keep doing my best to accomplish great things! I want to be GREAT!” Peres said on facebook.

Also on the card was the boxing debut of American James Wilson against Lui Te’o (1 - 3 - 0). It was an interesting fight as Te’o moved most of the fight to avoid getting hit by Wilson. Despite moving around Wilson managed to get a couple of power shots in. Wilson won the bout by unanimous decision.

“Made my pro boxing debut, all glory goes to God Thank you for the victory. Big up's to my courageous opponent, and my beautiful team. Much luv uso BEASTMODE OR NO MODE!!!!” Said Wilson on his facebook.

Wilson next bout will be on July 8th at Auckland Netball Centre in St John against Joe Betham.
