Saemi Hanagata Wins by a Split decision over Yuko Kuroki for the vacant IBF Atomweight title

(SEPT 30) Last night at the Korakuen Hall, in Tokyo, Japan,
Saemi Hanagata, 101¾, a former OPBF Mini-flyweight champion won a ten-round split decision over Yuko Kuroki, 101½, a former WBC Mini-flyweight champion.  This was a rubber match for the two.  the two were fighting for the vacant IBF Atomweight title. (SEPT 29) Tonight at the Palais des Sports Saint-Sauveur, Lille, Nord, France, Licia Boudersa won by an eight-round TKO over Hasna Tukic. The bout was scheduled for ten rounds. The two were fighting for the vacant WBF featherweight title. In a second female bout lightweight Sayda Mosquera, 135, won a four-round unanimous decision over Marlene Aguilar, 132¼.

The Forum welcomed over 50 participants from all over the world, including national women’s boxing leaders, coaches and referees. SEPT 2)  On September 14, 2018, at the Korakuen Hall in Tokyo, Japan, WBA female flyweight champion Naoko Fujioka, 17-2-0 (7KO), of Tokyo,  will face interim champion Irma "La Guerita" Sanchez, 30-7-1 (8KO), of Jalisco, Mexico.  Fujioka last fought and won the WBO Flyweight title in December of 2017.  Sanchez's last fight was in October of 2017 where she won by a split decision over Brenda Ramos, where they fought for the Interim WBA Flyweight title.

Muay Thai Genius Girl Nillada Meekoon Goes for Olympic Boxing Gold

(SEPT 2) On Thursday night (August 30th) in Budapest, Hungary, Nillada Meenkoon (a.k.a. Phetjee Jaa O. Meekoon) won a silver medal (48KG) in the AIBA Youth World Boxing Championships 2018.   Nillada Meenkoon is Muay Thai super star called “Genius Girl” in Thailand. She holds the WMC 45kg and WPMF Mini-flyweight world titles.  And she is aiming to become a boxing gold medalist in Tokyo 2020.  Full Story
