August 26, 2017 - T-Mobile Arena, Las Vegas, Nevada
Savannah Marshall, 164½, of Harlepool, United Kingdom, who was making her pro debut won by a unanimous decision over Sydney LeBlanc, 165, of Gretna, Louisiana.   Final judges scores were 40-36 on all cards.  LeBlanc has now lost her last four fights, including fighting Claressa Shields, and Franchon Crews and Maricela Cornejo.

August 26, 2017 - Buenos Aires, Argentina
Super featherweight Alejandra Zamora, 129.5,  won a four-round majority decision over Elizabeth Britos, 127.

August 26, 2017 - Plaza de Toros, Benidorm, Comunidad Valenciana, Spain
Super flyweight Eva Naranjo won by a fourth round TKO over Danielle Hodges.

August 26, 2017 - Operastage, Olavinlinna, Savonlinna
Eva Wahlstrom, 133¾, of Helsinki, Finland, won an eight round bout by unanimous decision over Irma Adler, 131¼, of Sarajevo, Bosnia And Herzegovina .  Wahlstrom moved her record to 21-0-1 (3KO) and still remains undefeated.  Final judges scores were 80-72 on all cards.  Adler is now 16-9-0 (8KO).

August 19, 2017 - Club Atletico Central Argentino, Rio Cuarto, Argentina
Flyweight Anahi Lopez, 111, won a ten-round unanimous decision over Alejandra Rios, 108¼.  Final judges scores was 100-90, 100-90, and 100-90.5.  The two were fighting for the Argentina FAB Flyweight title.

August 19, 2017 at the Auditorium, Richmond
, Miller won a six-round unanimous decision over Kita Watkins.

August 19, 2017 - Club Social y Cultural El Cruce, Malvinas Argentinas, Argentina
Debra Dionicius, 114¾, won a ten-round unanimous decision over Diana Fernandez, 114¾.   Final judges scores were 100-90, 98-92, 98-92. The two were fighting for the IBF Super Flyweight title.  

August 12, 2017 - late afternoon - Rose Bunka Hall, Toyonaka, Osaka, Japan
Atomweight Masae Akitaya, won by a sixth round RTD over Akari Arase. Akitaya was defending her OPBF female atomweight title. Final judges scores were 58-57, 58-57, and 58-56.  In a second female bout, Yui Akai won over Yumemi Ikemoto by a four-round majority decision in a 113.5 lb catch weight bout. 39-38, 39-38, and 38-38.

August 12, 2017 - Palacio Peñarol, Montevideo
Chris Namus, 153½, won a ten-round unanimous decision over Yamila Reynoso, 150¼.  Final judges scores were 99-90, 98-91, and 100-89.   The two were fighting for the vacant IBF super welterweight title. In a second bout, Yesica Bopp, 107 1/4, won a ten-round unanimous decision over Olga Julio, 107.5.  Final judges scores 100-90, 100-90, and 100-90.

August 12, 2017 - Arena Oasis, Cancun, Mexico
Alejandra Jimenez, 236½, won by a third round TKO over Vanessa Joanisse, 231. Jimenez was defending her WBC Heavyweight title.  In a second female bout super middleweight Maricela Cornejo won a six-rounder on points over Vanessa Rodriguez. x

August 11, 2017 - Hindú Basquetbol Club, Catamarca, Catamarca, Argentina
Super bantamweight Jennifer Rasjido, 122 1/4, won by a third round(0:39) KO over Vanesa del Valle Calderon, 121.5.  The bout was scheduled for four rounds.

August 11, 2017 -  Club Atlético Argentinos, 25 de Mayo, Buenos Aires, Argentina
Flyweight Tamara Demarco, 110 1/4, won a four-round unanimous decision over Yisele  Yolanda Sosa, 110 3/4.

August 5, 2017 - Club Social y Deportivo El Porvenir, Quilmes, Buenos Aires, Argentina
Featherweight Ana Romina Guichapani, 126, won a six-round unanimous decision Elizabeth Britos, 125 3/4.

August 5, 2017- Convention Center, Waco, Texas
Ayanna Vasquez, 126 1/4, won by a four-round unanimous decision over Shurretta Metcalf, win final scoring of 36-40, 36,-40, 37-39.

August 5, 2017 -  Essen, Germany
 While it had been a very wet day, the Boxing-Gods made sure the rain had stopped when the first bell sounded for a big World Boxing Federation (WBF) Championship double-header staged outdoors on a football-pitch in Essen, Germany on Saturday evening, August 5.  The sold-out event promoted by Bjoern Sothmann had WBF Womens Intercontinental Strawweight Champion Oezlem Sahin making her first title-defense against French Flyweight Champion Sandy Coget, in what was an intense and entertaining fight.  Full Story

August 5, 2017 -Microsoft Theater, Los Angeles, California
Another great amateur boxer Mikaela Mayer makes her pro debut.  Mayer made it a short night when she stopped her opponent Widnelly Figueroa, stopping her by KO in the first round. The bout was scheduled for four rounds ---nice to see another top amateur boxer into the pros!

August 5, 2017 - Barrio El Bosque, Barranquilla, Colombia
Super bantamweight Alys Sanchez, 121,  won a ten-round split decision over Liliana Palmera, 122. The two were fighting for the WBA super bantamweight world title.

August 4, 2017 Grand Hotel, Tijuana, Mexico
Sandra Robles won by an eight-round decision over Jessica Rangel.

August 4, 2017 - Salon Tattersall, San Isidro, Buenos Aires, Argentina

Bantamweight Maria Roman,  117¼, of San Juan, Argentina, won a ten-round split decision over Carolina Duer, 117¼, Buenos Aires.  Final judges scores were 94-95, 94-95, and 96-94.   The two were fighting for the IBF Bantamweight title.  In a second female bout, Lara Altamirano, 116¾, of Buenos Aires, had a ten-round split draw with Jennifer Mendoza, 114¾, also of Buenos Aires. 

August 4, 2017 - MGM in Detroit, Michigan
Claressa Shields, 165¼, of Michigan won by a fifth round TKO over Nikki Adler, 166, of Germany. The two were fighting for the WBC and vacant IBF Super Middleweight titles. The bout was scheduled for ten rounds. The bout was featured on ShoBox.  The Shields vs. Adler fight was the main event.  x

August 1, 2017 -  Arena El Jefe, Monterrey, Nuevo León, Mexico
