Holm won her third world title, this last Friday at the Isleta Casino and Resort just outside Albuquerque, NM. It was a sixth consecutive sell-out at the 3,000 seat arena. Holm is now a world champion with the IFBA Jr. Middleweight World champion; the IBA  Jr. Welterweight World Champion; and is also the WBA Welterweight World Champion.

In the press release they said that the WBC has order undefeated Mary Jo Sanders to come to an agreement with the Holm camp before December 15th or go to purse bid or vacate the title. “We have not heard back from the Sanders camp, but we look forward to working out a deal with Sanders. It would be a great fight for women’s boxing. If a deal is not reached we will proceed to unify all Titles at 147lb to give Holm the opportunity to be the UNDISPUTED Women’s Welterweight Champion. We will hopefully fight for the WBA, IBA, IFBA and the WBC World Titles in the first quarter of 2007” stated Fresquez.
