(OCT 15) I have seen you fight and certainly acknowledge you as one of the best female fighters in the business. You seem to have class both in and out of the ring. However, in boxing, you have to beat the best to be the best.

Every time you have been offered a fight with Jeannine Garside, you have turned it down. That really surprises me. I would think you'd want to fight the other Canadian female boxer who--like you--is considered one of the tops in the sport.

For some reason you keep telling our promoter (Arnie Rosenthal) that you don't want to fight her because she is a southpaw. Wasn't Kelli Cofer a southpaw? That excuse just doesn't make sense.

You have been quoted as saying that no one wants to fight you. That may be true of certain other fighters. But Jeannine is READY, WILLING and VERY ABLE to fight you. She'll fight you anywhere, even in your own backyard.

The more you dodge her and make excuses--the more it appears that you are just too afraid to fight her. Maybe you heard about her recent fight with Brooke Dierdorff. Or maybe you saw what she did to Laura Serrano.

There's an old saying in boxing: "You can run but you can't hide."

Stop running, Jelena! Let's get it on.
