(JUNE 12) WBAN was in contact today with female boxer Corinne Van Ryck de Groot, undefeated at 11-0-0 (5 KOs). Corinne told WBAN the following:

"I hear Lisa Brown is looking to defend her title on Aug. 7th 2009. I think she is an incredible fighter and I have the utmost respect for her as a fighter and as a woman.  To be the best you have to beat the best!  I would love the opportunity to fight Lisa for her title on this card in Wisconsin on Aug. 7th, 2009."

"If Lisa will accept the challenge for this fight I think we will put on a very competitive title bout!!  Respectfully,
