(DEC 4) Tonight at the HP
Pavillion, in San Jose, California, Ana Julaton, will fight for
a new title against Donna Biggers. The two will be
fighting a 10-rounder for a WBO super bantamweight title.
At the weigh-in yesterday, in front of a very excited crowd,
with a group of Filipino contigents to support Julaton,
squared off with Biggers. Julaton weighed in at 122,
and Biggers, 120 lbs. Boxing Promoter Roy Englebrecht
announced that this fight between Julaton and Biggers is the
"first ever" WBO world title bout for women.
