Velez Wins by Decision over Reile
Source/Bonnie Canino
February 28, 2010

(FEB 28) Last night at the Electricians Union Hall, in  Miami, Florida, Ada "The Ace" Velez, 121, won a six-round unanimous decision over Stacey "Stay-Lo" Reile.  Both are from the Florida area.  WBAN was told that this fight was the best bout on the card this night and was a great fight that rekindled the audiences' passion for boxing fights and especially women's boxing.  This was Velez’s second bout on her comeback to the sport and she displayed why she is one of the top women boxers in the world.

Canino told WBAN, "Velez and her team have great respect for Stacy Reile. She demonstrated great heart and is a good representative for the sport. Ada Velez is looking for her next fight to be at 118, where she will dominate anyone who challenges her."
