(NOV 13)  A lot of things have been happening in the last 24 hours in the boxing world, allot of the big news are coming from New Zealand Women. The first big new comes from Argentina.

UK Born New Zealander Michelle Preston, will be travelling to Argentina to fight for the IBF World Super Flyweight Title against current champion Debora Anahi Dionicius in a rematch..

38 Year old, Michelle Preston (8-7-1) started her career as a kickboxer, but now does both. She is a former WBA Oceania Champion, WBO Asia Pacific Champion and New Zealand National (NZNBF Version) Champion.

Former South American Champion Debora Anahi Dionicius (23-0-0) won her IBF World title back in 2012 against Preston in Argentina. Preston won her opportunity by defeating a highly ranked boxer Noemi Bosques back in April this year at Royal Rampage in Auckland, New Zealand after a four year hiatus. The World title bout will happen on 3rd of December.

Next bit of news comes from Singapore. Wellington, New Zealand’s own Gentiane Lupi (4-2-1) traveled to Singapore to take on Nurshahidah Roslie (4-0-0) for the vacant WBA Oceania Super Featherweight title. Lupi won the fight by TKO in the 5th round, not only making this her first win from overseas but also first title from the major four.

Last bit of News for New Zealand women comes from Auckland, New Zealand where Baby Nansen took on Wendy Talbot. The two have fought before in kickboxing twice with a win each. The fight happened on the Big Bash 6 undercard. Baby Nansen won her fight by UD winning all rounds.
