(JULY 12)  On Saturday, July 21, 2018, at the Olympic Stadium in Moscow, Russia, Cecilia "The First Lady" Cecilia Braekhus, 33-0 (9KO), is set to fight Inna "The Ice Queen" Sagaydakovskya, 7-0-0 (3KO), where she will be defending her WBC, WBA, WBO, IBF, and IBO Welterweight titles.

Braekhus spent her final week of training in Kiev, Ukraine, and said that the training in Kiev at the Olympic facility has been fantastic, and that it has been a great training camp, with terrific sparring.

Braekhus said on one news media outlet, "We’ve also had some great friends visit while we’ve been here including Wladimir Klitschko and Alexander Usyk.”

Braekhus vs. Sagaydakovskya will be the chief support to the highly anticipated World Boxing Super Series Final between cruiserweight world champions Murat Gassiev of Russia and Alexander Usyk of Ukraine. The event takes place just six days after the final of the World Cup.

Braekhus said at a recent press conference, "“This year has been one of taking chances and taking different paths than I have in the past. This fight on July 21, which will be telecast worldwide, is very big not just for me but for all of women’s boxing.”
