(MAY 10) Latest update on worldwide female boxing this weekend. As I previous wrote a month ago, that according to this weekend and many previous weekends throughout the last year or two...we still are not seeing the activity change much for the regular club venues to feature female boxing, even though we are having some fantastic high-profile bouts going on that are being televised and showcased.

I went through Boxrec this weekend, looking at the worldwide activity, and AGAIN....folks "it ain't much."

Many of the cards have NO WOMEN'S BOXING on the cards--and the ones that do have the females featured, they are on the undercard, four round bouts, etc.

Tonight, May 10th, Friday

Tonight at the Topsporthal Vlaanderen, Ghent, Oost-Vlaanderen, Belgium, there is one female bout on the card that will feature super lightweight Elfi Phillips, 10-5-3 (4KO), of Oost-Vlaanderen, will be fighting Karina Kopinska, 12-28-4 (3KO), of Dabrowa Gornicza, Poland.  The two will be fighting in an eight-round bout.
