(SEPT 11) Sarah Ivy Dickerson, who helped film the International Women's Boxing Hall of Fame (IWBHF) last weekend on August 30th, at the DoubleTree Hotel, in Brisbane, California, fought at the Sunday Showdown on September 8, 2019, at the Century Sheriff's Boxing Club in Florence-Graham, California, winning her fight against Haley Sawyer of Virgil Hill's Quicksilver Gym.

Ivy met Jill Morley at a Film Fatales (female filmmaker) group three years ago and expressed her interest in boxing. Since then, Jill has been training her through Fight Like a Girl Boxing.  (www.FLAGboxingla.com)

Wayne "The Pocket Rocket" McCullough came onboard and the two have been training and cornering Ivy this past year.

She has five fights to date. She is 4 and 1 as an amateur and looks to compete in the upcoming qualifiers and to take her journey into boxing as far as she can.

After shooting the IWBHF, Ivy said, "It's so inspiring to see the support the women have for each other and their love of the sport." You can follow Ivy's journey on instagram at @BoxingBeachGirl
