Laila Ali - Claressa Shields Buzz....IS a Buzzin!

(JAN 18)  Just shortly after Claressa "T-Rex" Shields' latest fight, where she won belts in three weight divisions the Internet began a Buzzin' with an interview as of late with Laila "She Bee Stingin" Ali, who talked about what it would take to get her to re-enter the ring at the age of 42.

In the Interview Ali said that she was a business woman  and that it would take at least five million - ten million to even get her to consider it due to what it would take to get into the kind of shape to fight again.

Ali, retired in 2007, with a undefeated record of 24-0-0 (21 KOs).

On the World Boxing News, they wrote: "Women’s boxing legend Laila Ali has effectively named her price to come out of retirement and face pound for pound star Claressa Shields. The undefeated former women’s champion has become embroiled in a war of words with the current three-weight ruler. Responding to talk from Shields that the self-professed ‘GWOAT’ would win, even if the pair fought in Ali’s prime, the daughter of ‘The Greatest’ spoke to Sirius XM."

It was not too long after that article came out that we posted on Facebook, that Shields had her own words to speak about an Ali vs. Shields fight.  The headliner went as follows: "Claressa Shields Issues $10 Million Boxing Challenge to Laila Ali".  On Heavy.com they wrote the following:

"On a recent episode of Sway In The Morning, Laila Ali, daughter of the late legendary heavyweight champion Muhammad Ali, didn’t have the kindest things to say about Shields. “First of all, she could never beat me,” she told Sway Calloway.   “Let me get that really straight right now. Not simply because she’s not strong enough, because I would definitely knock her out, because she’s not talented enough.”

According to this article Ali noted that Shields was talented, that she could box, that Shields could throw hard punches, but that there is a "Sweet Science" to boxing and that the reason Shields has not been successful in knocking out her opponents, and that Ali could see why.

Shields response to all of this via text message was that she is not only sure Ali could not defeat her, but that she knew for a fact that she knows Ali could not beat her.

In the latest buzz, Ali shoots back at Shields comments on a youtube video.  WBAN will keep boxing fans up on the latest Buzz between these two champions!
