Elisha began boxing at the age of 19 with Steve Maetas coach of the House of Pain Gym., through the program she developed a self-esteem and true confidence in herself. She fought in the amateurs for approximately three years before she turned pro. After Elisha had a few pro bouts, she then got married at the age of 24, having two children, Luis and Felice.
