Hometown boxer of Austia Eva Voraberger, 114 1/4, lost to Esmeralda Moreno, 113, by a majority decision. Final judges scores were 94-96,  89-100, 95-95.  Voraberger was defending her IBO, GBU, and WIBF super flyweight titles.  New champion: Moreno.

April 30, 2016 - Palasport, Fiumicino, Lazio, Italy
Lightweight Monica Gentili won a six-rounder by points over Suzana Radovanovic.

April 30, 2016 -  Malecon Turistico, Guaymas, Sonora, Mexico
Anabel Ortiz, 105, won a ten round unanimous decision over Katia Gutierrez, 105.  Final judges scores were 99-91, 99-91, and 98-92.

April 30, 2016 - Armory, Washington, District of Columbia, USA
Middleweight Latondria Jones,  153.5, won by a first round TKO over pro debuter Kamika Slade, 144.5.

April 30, 2016 - Pabellón Raúl Mesa, Benidorm, Comunidad Valenciana, Spain
Bantamweight Eva Naranjo won a six-round unanimous decision over Katherine Quintana.  Final judges scores were 60-54, 60-54, and 60-55.

April 30, 2016 - Arena Roberto Duran, Panama City, Panama
Super featherweight Lourdes Borbua, 130, won by a fourth round 1:06,  TKO over Monica Siris, 127 3/4.  The fight was scheduled for six rounds.

April 30, 2016 - Deportivo Tolti, Tultitlán, México
Super bantamweight Viridiana Garcia, 121¼, won a four-round unanimous decision over Fernanda Diaz Ramos, 122 1/4; super bantamweight, Maria Elena Villalobos, 119 1/4, lost to Yesenia Tovar, 118 3/4, by an eight round split decision; and lightweight beatriz Jimenez, won a four-round unanimous decision over Cynthia Hernandez.

April 29, 2016 - Southwest University Events Center, El Paso, Texas
Jennifer Han, 125.5, successfully defended her IBF featherweight title against Calixta Silgado, 123 3/4.   Final judges scores were 100-90 on all cards.  Over 5,000 fans in attendance at the Southwest University Park to support El Paso's "Sweetheart" and still our Champion Jennifer Han.

April 24, 2016 - Club Argentino de Castelar, Castelar, Buenos Aires, Argentina
Mariana Giselle Clausi, 110 1/4, won by a third round RTD over Melina Anifossi, 110 1/4, pro debut. The fight was scheduled for four rounds. 

April 23, 2016 - Stockholm, Sweden
 Erik Skoglund continued his unbeaten streak with a heroic performance against Ryno Liebenberg to claim the IBO International Light Heavyweight title last night at the Hovet in Stockholm. Liebenberg had said he would drag Skoglund into a ‘dog fight’ and that is exactly what happened after Skoglund received a nasty gash above..Full Story.

Seniesa Estrada, 109 1/2, won a six-round unanimous decision over Selene Lopez, 109 3/4. Final judges scores were 60-54 on all cards. In a second female bout Kenia Enriquez, 107 1/2, won by a fifth round KO Amaris Quintana, 107 3/4. Nice to see women featured on the card in this area.

April 23, 2016 - Centro Recreacional Yesterday, Turmero, Venezuela
Strawweight Maria Milano won by a second round TKO over Yuneska Sulbaran. The fight was scheduled for four rounds.

April 24, 2016 - Gentlemen Fight Club Boxing House, Budapest, Hungary
Szilvia Szabados, 151.5, won by points over Bernadett Czegeledi, 152.5.  Judges socre was 55-60.

April 23, 2016 - Centro de Usos Multiples, Los Mochis, Mexico
Ava Knight won an eight-round unanimous decision over Judith Rodriguez.

April 23, 2016 - Estadio F.A.B., Buenos Aires,Argentina
Lightweight Karen Carabajal won a six-round unanimous decision over Natalia Aquirre.

April 22, 2016 - Club Hindu, Catamarca, Catamarca, Argentina
Super bantamweight Jennifer Rasjido, had a four-round majority draw with Melisa Dozo.

April 22, 2016 - Polideportivo Vicente Polimeni, Las Heras, Mendoza, Argentina
Lightweight Alejandra Reynoso, won a four-round unanimous decision over Tania Pereya.

Flyweight Leonela Yudica won a ten-round unanimous decision over Soledad Frias. The two were fighting for the IBF Flyweight title.  Also Maria Roman won a four-round unanimous decision over Lilian Silva.

Lightweight Yohana Alfonzo, won a ten-round unanimous decision for the WBO lightweight title over Brenda Carabajal.

April 22, 2016 - The Melbourne Pavilion, Victoria, Australia
Super bantamweight Sylvia Scharper won a four-round unanimous decision  over Ratsadaporn Khiaosopa.

April 22, 2016 - Palais des Sports, Orléans, Loiret, France
Super bantamweight Jessica Vargas won a ten-round split decision over Nevenka Mikulic. The two were fighting for the vacant EBU super bantamweight title.

April 22, 2016 - Cancha Ruben Zayas Montanez, Puerto Rico
Amanda "The Real Deal" Serrano, 126, won by a fourth round TKO over Edina Kiss, now 6-1-0 (3KO)),  Budapest, Hungary.  The fight was scheduled for eight rounder.   Serrano improved her record to 28-1-1 (21KO).

April 21, 2016 - Mel Ott Recreation Center, Gretna, Louisiana, USA
Lightweight Kimberly Connor won a six-round unanimous decision over Kim Colbert.

Sunday, April 17, 2016- Osaka, Japan:
In a light flyweight six Kei Takenaka 11-0 won an expected unanimous decision over debuting Daoruang Saknarong. Becej, Serbia: In a four round super lightweight match between debuting boxers, Jovana Djordjevic won a points victory over Ksenita Medic.

In Zamora, Mexico:
In a heavyweight six, Lizeth Zacarias 2-1 won a unanimous decision over Roxana Alanis 5-3. In a welterweight four, Erika Hernandez 1-0-1 won a unanimous decision over debuting Naomi Rodriguez. And in a light flyweight four, Maria Soledad Vargas 2-0 won a unanimous decision over debuting Rosalia Gomez.

April 16, 2016 -  Karlsruhe, Germany:
One of the two cards reported results. In a super bantam eight Melanie Zwecher 8-0-2 and Jasmina Nadj 5-12-3 fought to a majority draw. In a featherweight six, Sandra Atanassow 4-0 won a points victory over Doris Koehler 12-15-2. And in a super lightweight six, Prisca Vicot 5-3 won a points victory over Suzana Radovanovic 1-24.

The second card in Karsruhe, Germany:
In a lightweight ten, Kallia Kourouni 5-1 won a majority decision (97-93, 94-94, 99-92) over Maja Milenkovic 3-7. In a super bantam ten, Caroline Schroeder 9-2 won a split decision victory (odd scores: 93-98, 97-93, 96-94) over Oksana Romanova 8-17-1. And in a super lightweight four, Verena Kaiser 3-0 won a unanimous decision over Dora Farkas 0-8.

April 16, 2016 - Club Atlético Talleres, Villa Constitucion, Santa Fe, Argentina
There are two female bouts scheduled on the card.  In one bout, Victoria Bustos, now 15-3-0 (0KO), of Santa Fe, 134, won a ten-round majority decision over Ruth Aquino, 7-2-0; 134,  The two were fighting for the vacant IBF Inter-Continental Lightweight title. Final judges scores were 95-95, 96-93, and 97-93.   In a second bout, Andrea Sanchez, 107,  and Anahi Lopez, 109 1/4,  fought to a four-round majority draw.  Final scores were 39-39, 39-39, and 38-39½.

April 16, 2016 - Barclay Center, New York City, New York
Heather "The Heat" Hardy, 123 1/4, now 16-0-0 (4KO), of Brooklyn, New York, won by a fourth round TKO over  Sweden's  Donatella Hultin, 123, 8-3-0, in a scheduled eight round bout.  Team Hultin made some comments on Facebook, "First of all we want to thank everyone that's been  in this journey. Anna will be back even better and stronger. We also want to thank DiBella entertainment for this great event and making us part of it. Love to all our friends that came to the arena to support Anna."

April 16, 2016 - Foxwoods Resort, Mashantucket, Connecticut
Shelly "Shelito's Way" Vincent, 125, now 17-0-0 (1KO), won a six-round unanimous decision over Elizabeth Anderson, now 4-8-0, 125, from Salt Lake City, Utah,  in a six round bout.  The final judges scores were 59-55, 60-54, and 59-55.

April 16, 2016, at the Sporthall, in Sülysáp, Hungary
Alexandra Lazar,117 1/4,  now 8-1-0, won a ten-rounder by unanimous decision winning the vacant WBC Youth Bantamweight title over Tolnai Kleopatra, 116.5,  6-6-0 (1KO); in a second female bout, Andrea Lakatos, 111 1/4, lost to pro debuter Judit Hachbold, 110, losing by a split decision.

April 16, 2016 - Salle Yvon Chevalier, Charente-Maritime, France
Bantamweight Ericka Rousseau won a four-rounder by points over Bojana Libiszewska.

April 16, 2016 - Gimnasio Olímpico Juan de la Barrera, Mexico City, Distrito Federal, Mexico
Victoria Polo, 110, of Mexico, making her pro debut defeated Veronica Ixehuati, 110, of Mexico City, by a four-round unanimous decision.

Women's Boxing was alive and well as promoter Lisa Lewis of Royal Rampage Promotions put on a show of historic proportions, 7 of the 9 bouts were women bouts, 4 of those were for UBF [Universal Boxing Federation International Championship] and WBC championship titles.  Story on Nydia Feliciano vs. Jennings....Full Story/with photos   Bout 3:  Women’s Light Heavyweight contest, 4 x 2 minute rounds, Nailini Helu, 78.40kgs​v​Kirsty Lupeamanu, 79.00kgs.  Result: Win to N. H. Helu by Unanimous Points: 40/36, 40/36, 40/36;  In the battle of debuting middleweights, Nailini Helu won a unanimous four round decision over Kirsty Lupeamanu.

April 15, 2016 - Polideportivo Cooperativa Tortuguitas, Buenos Aires, Argentina 
Carolina "La Colorada" Duer, 122, 18-3-1 (5KO), won a six-round bout by unanimous decision over  Vanesa "La Salvaje" Calderon, 122, 5-10-0 (1KO).  Both boxers are from Argentina. Final results  60-54½, 60-54, and 60-54.

April 14, 2016 - Espace Venise, Sarcelles, Val-d'Oise, France
Gaelle Amand, 125 3/4,  now 14-0-0 (1KO), of Cergy-Pontoise, Val-d'Oise, France,  won the vacant WBC International featherweight title over Tamara Nunez,129,  6-6-3 (1KO), of  Reconquista, Santa Fe, Argentina.

Wednesday, April 13. Sturovo, Slovakia:
Two Bouts. A super bantam four saw Gabriella Mezei 7-5-2 win a unanimous decision over Eva Pakozdi 0-6. In a featherweight six, Agnes Nick 3-0 scored a third round TKO over Erika Kalderas 11-5.

April 10, 2016 -  at Soka City Culture Hall in Saitama, Japan
The bouts that took place:  Naoko Shibata vs. Tanuthong Sor Kunlawong - IBF light flyweight champion Naoko Shibata wins by a 3rd round TKO in a scheduled eight round bout at a catchweight of 49kg;  Ayaka Miyao vs. Krikanok IlandMuayThai - Former WBA Atomweight champion Ayaka Miyao wins by a 4th round TKO in a scheduled eight round bout at -48kg; Chie Higano vs. Aiko Yamagishi (rematch) -47kg Chie Higano wins by a six round unanimous decision; and lastly Jun Yabuki vs Itose Ishii (rematch) -Flyweight Jun Yabuki wins by a four round unanimous decision.  Photographs by Samart

In a Flyweight eight rounder, Jessica Nery Plata 16-1 won a unanimous decision over Yanely Hernandez 6-6. In a super lightweight six, Beatriz Jimenez 3-0-1 won a split decision over Estefania Zapiain 1-1.

April 9, 2016 -  In Necochea, Argentina:
Jorgelina Guanini 3-0-1 won a unanimous decision over Valeria Jesica Almiron 1-9.

April 9, 2016 -  In Henin-Beaumont, France:
Two super lightweight four rounders. Laetitia Chevalier 2-0 scored a third round TKO over Sandra Zekic 2-8; and Oshin Derieuw won her debut bout by a second round TKO.

April 9, 2016 - In Palmar de Varela, Columbia:
Enis Pacheco 15-3-2 won a welterweight ten rounder over Yarley Cuadrudo 7-2 by unanimous decision. In a six round super bantam match on the same card Olga Julio 21-16-1 KOed Yoleima Blanco 0-9 in the second round.

April 9, 2016- In Torrelodones, Spain:
In a flyweight four, Joana Pastrana 4-0 won a unanimous decision over Teodora Bacheva 4-4. And in a bantamweight four, Cristana Gomez 1-1 won a unanimous decision over Vanesa Caruso 0-3.

April 9, 2016 - Warnambool Stadium, Warrnambool, Victoria, Australia - Three female bouts on card.   Shannon O'Connell wins via 6th round stoppage by TKO over Anrey Onesongchaigym to become the WBC Female Silver Super Bantamweight Champion;  Susie Q Ramadan won by a third round TKO over Hongfah Tor Buamas; and Sugar Neekz Johnson won by TKO on debut against Napaporn Ruengsuwan from Thailand.

April 9, 2016 - MBS Arena, Potsdam, Brandenburg, Germany
Lightweight Monika Henao, 133, won by a four--round unanimous decision over Sara Marjanovic, 131.

Friday, April 08. Tijuana, Mexico:
In a flyweight six, Tania Enriquez 8-0 remains undefeated by forcing Mary Gastelum 4-2-1 into retirement in the second round. In a flyweight four, Yanali Ayon 4-1 won a unanimous decision over Karla Islas 1-4.

Friday, April 8. Villa Dominico, Argentina:
 In a light flyweight eight rounder, Yesica Yolanda Bopp 28-1 won a unanimous decision over Vanesa Lorena Taborda 8-6-3.

In a light flyweight eight rounder, Elicia Jamile De Souza Santos 8-0 won by third round KO over late replacement, debuting Jessica Paula Da Silva.
