Stallone in "Vegas"
for Rocky Filming

(DEC 3) Yesterday, at the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas, Nevada, after the
Bernard Hopkins vs. Jermain Taylor weigh-ins, Sylvester
Stallone was filming his new movie Rocky Balboa, with mock
weigh-ins for the movie which stars Light heavyweight Champ Antonio
Tarver, who is portraying Boxer Mason Dixon.
Stallone is the writer,
director, and actor for this movie. Many extras for the movie
included many of the professional photographers, and writers, i.e. Bert
Sugar, Dan Rafael, Kevin Iole, Ron Borges, etc. They also had
famous artist LeRoy Neiman. Retired World champion and currently
works on the New Mexico Boxing Commission, Trina Ortegon, was also
an extra.
Mary Ann Owen, of BoxingInLasVegas.com, who contributes great photos of
the women's bouts for WBAN was also at this filming, and took some nice
shots for WBAN boxing fans to view!
